Dear friends of the Bonhoeffer House,
we were very much looking forward to the reading and conversation with the book author Dorothee Röhrig from the Dohnanyi family. Unfortunately, she had to cancel at short notice due to an acute illness. She will be happy to come to Bonhoeffer House at a later date. We will invite in due time.
In her place, Dr. Tobias Korenke from the Schleicher family, deputy chairman of the Bonhoeffer-Haus and – like Dorothee Röhrig – from the generation of great-grandchildren of Karl and Paula Bonhoeffer, will speak about his relationship to his grandparents Rüdiger Schleicher and Ursula, née Bonhoeffer. Rüdiger Schleicher, along with Hans von Dohnanyi, Klaus and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, were among the four sons-in-law and sons of Karl and Paula Bonhoeffer who were murdered in the resistance, and whose wives were not only behind them, but beside them.
