Opening of the Bonhoeffer House

Dear visitors,

Welcome to Bonhoeffer House!

As an individual or as a group, you are cordially invited to visit the house with its permanent exhibition on the life and significance of Dietrich Bonhoeffer – also for us today – and with his restored study under the roof. Unfortunately, the Memorial and Place of Encounter, which opened in 1987, is not barrier-free.

Guided tours are available in German and English.

Visiting the house is currently only possible for those who have recovered or (at least double) vaccinated. Exact arrangements are necessary for the visit of young people or people who have not been vaccinated for medical reasons.
Current rules on hygiene and spacing apply, including the wearing of an FFP2 mask in the house, and a limit on the number of people.

The house is run and supervised by us on a voluntary basis. We would be happy to come to the house to give you a tour of the house. For this we need your registration a few days in advance. We ask for donations to finance the work.

Best regards, also in the name of the other volunteer members of the team,

(Martina Dethloff, Lisa Frank, Kurt Kreibohm, Dr. Ulrich Luig, Ingrid Portmann)

Gottfried Brezger, Chairman
