Your donation is important

The Bonhoeffer House Memorial and Place of Encounter is run by a non-profit association. The work of the house depends on non-material and financial support. Your donation will make a valuable contribution to keeping Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s thoughts and actions alive.

Your donation enables educational programs, events and lively remembrance work. You are supporting a house that stands up for historical awareness, the strengthening of the rule of law and an open society that is committed to fighting discrimination–inspired by the Bonhoeffer family’s attitude.

Ways to donate

There are various ways in which you can support the work of the Bonhoeffer House with a one-off or permanent donation:

Donation receipt

The work of the Bonhoeffer House is recognized as charitable under German law. In order to get a donation receipt please provide your full address (e.g. in the purpose of use). As a rule, the association sends the donation receipt at the beginning of the following year.

Note: Donations under €300 can also be claimed in the tax return with simplified proof (e.g. bank statement) in Germany. Please seek binding legal advice on how to claim tax reductions in your country.

Transparency

The funds received are used exclusively in accordance with the statutes of the association and are based on the organization’s fundamental ethical convictions. The current notice of tax exemption is available and can be viewed on request.

Other forms of support

Please contact us in good time to realize your idea for the benefit of the Bonhoeffer House, e.g. church collection from your congregation, a monetary gift to someone or on occasion (birth, birthday, wedding, bereavement) etc.

Would you like to make? The beneficiary will receive a certificate and a small gift from the Bonhoeffer House.
Would you like to do something good for a significant occasion (birth, birthday, wedding, bereavement) etc.
