The former home of the Bonhoeffer family offers you the opportunity to hold your own events in a historically inspiring environment. Whether a retreat, conference, seminar or meeting–the rooms combine a concentrated working atmosphere with a special spirit.

Rooms in the Bonhoeffer House

Seminar room (historically: salon und office)
This bright working room is suitable for up to 30 people and can be flexibly furnished with tables and chairs. The room opens onto a small conservatory. The historical exhibition can be seen on the walls. A Gutzeit grand piano, on which Dietrich played, characterizes the impression of the room. Technical equipment (projector, screen, flipchart/whiteboard) is available
Library (historically: dining room)
Here you will find specialist literature by and about Bonhoeffer, his theology, ethics and the church struggle. The library is a passageway to the garden and is suitable for study or small group work.


Meeting room (historically: living room)
A room furnished with contemporary Art Deco furniture–ideal for small group discussions.
Kitchen
Equipped for self-catering or simple catering. Crockery available for groups of up to 60 people.


Terrace and garden
In the warmer months, the green outdoor area is open to you for breaks or outdoor discussions.

A place of concentration and reflection–preserved as a room of remembrance in the largely reconstructed state of 1943, the year of Dietrich’s arrest.

The flat rates include the use of furniture and technical equipment as well as final cleaning. Further details are regulated by a usage agreement. Individual arrangements and reduced conditions in cases of hardship are possible after consultation.
